💜🤝Our Long-Term Feminist Partnership with IWDA

At GADC, we deeply value our long-standing feminist partnership with the International Women’s Development Agency – IWDA.

Together, we have worked to advance gender equality and women’s rights through initiatives ranging from the Women’s Action for Voice and Empowerment (WAVE) project to our current Women’s Economic Empowerment in Small-Scale Business project, while also strengthening GADC’s organizational development.

In May, the GADC team visited the IWDA office to strengthen our ongoing collaboration, explore future funding opportunities, and deepen our shared commitment to feminist movement building. During the visit, GADC also had the opportunity to connect with IWDA partners from across the region, fostering solidarity, exchanging experiences, and strengthening relationships among feminist organizations.

✨Building on these conversations, we were delighted to welcome IWDA’s Senior Program Manager to the GADC office in June. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on Cambodia’s current context, share updates on GADC’s work, and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing women’s rights organizations (WROs) and the broader civil society sector.

These reciprocal visits reflect the strength of our partnership one built on trust, mutual learning, and a shared commitment to advancing feminist values and collective action.

🌈As we continue this journey together, our shared vision remains clear: to strengthen feminist movements, amplify women’s voices, and create lasting, positive change for women and girls in Cambodia.

We are grateful for IWDA’s continued trust, solidarity, and partnership. Together, we look forward to building a more just, inclusive, and gender-equal future.
