[Women in Leadership through civic engagement activity in Spean Chivit Youth Resource Center, Siem Reap province]

Seven diverse young women organized a sharing on “evolution of the female body” to 20 other youths on May 4, 2024 in Siem Reap province.

 

This sharing is a part of civic engagement activity after young women participated in FemLeading project. Young women create this shared content with the aim of exchanging knowledge as well as promoting the importance that girls need to know about adulthood, such as personal hygiene, choosing a good, economical tampon/pad and how to use it correctly. “I want them to know that physical changes during adulthood are normal, but it is important for us to be aware of our hygiene,” said the young woman.
